Taking Care of Business With a Baby

Hello my little pomegranate,

We’re back from the long weekend and we got a lot done in the apartment, ready for your arrival. In the midst of the hospital stays, house bed rest, and work holidays, I find myself completely behind schedule with my blog. I will be trying this week to get back on track, quite possibly post twice a day, but we’ll see how it goes. We can’t lose focus on the shop and the blog just yet. The good businesses are the one who remain consistent throughout anything. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re working towards that.

Your dad worked hard on our garden and on building your foldable changing table. You should see them: I’m so proud of him. You are going to love hanging out with your dad. That sounds like an obvious thing to say, but really, you’re going to love i! He has so many activities planned for you two, and he’s just wonderful with your dog sister. We are both very lucky to have him in our lives.

Your first home is going to be a wee bit small, but we’re making it beautiful and spacious for you. Plus, you’ll love our family strolls by the waterfront. It’s simply magical. We decided to stay in our smaller home just to keep enjoying our magical neighborhood. There’s nowhere else we’d rather live.

It will be so much more pleasant when I’m taking care of you, and working on Rawr Academy from home, to have beautiful surroundings like ours. We’ll take things slower with the shop, but your dad and I have decided that we will find ways to keep working on our family business. We both agree that our lives and our projects shouldn’t stop simply because we have a cute baby added to the mix. It will be a different pace, but I think we can manage it, right? You’re going to be a good baby, right? 🙂

Love always,
